I love to write. I just do!

Oh, what a perfect day! I finally managed to take that crucial first step or leap as some people call it, to start my blog.

For my inaugural post, it seems fitting to touch on the most important and probably the first two questions anyone asks when starting something new and unfamiliar such as blogging: "Why do I love to write?" "What made me start this blog"?

I don't know why I love to write. I just do. I write even in my head. I repeat them repeatedly, shaping the story until I have the opportunity to bring them to life on a page. I write, mostly snippets, when I have something, anything on my mind.

About my garden (which you can read here). Those delicious "accidents" I make in the kitchen. Hubby and I's a love affair with healthy but delicious food. Our periodic leisure trips, our epic love story (elaborated here and another here) and love-love relationship with durian and hunting for its adventures. Or when I'm aching to get something off my chest, or anything that fancies my interest.

In a way, writing helps me share and (hopefully) make other people see the mundane but surreal, funny, or magical side that comes from every day, ordinary experiences.

The size of my audience is minimal. My usual "readers" are often on it - hubby, relatives, colleagues, and friends. I guess I was hoping I could change that.

If by writing, I can make more people know and read my stories and feel good and inspired even, that would be a great bonus. Is this a good reason enough why I love and want to continue writing?
